I am a Research Professor at the Rockwool Foundation in Copenhagen, Denmark, a Senior Researcher at the Swedish Institute for Social Research, Stockholm University, and a Research Affiliate at the Center for Demography and Ecology, UW-Madison. Geographically, I am predominantly based in Florence, IT and can often be found at the European University Institute.
I also serve as Associate Editor at European Journal of Population since 2023.
My research fields are family demography, social inequality, child welfare, mental health, criminal justice, and applied econometrics.
